Visual Representation of a scene in the TV drama, Criminal Justice

The colours in this scene have been greatly desaturated making it look quite sinister. In addition to this, the colour pallet is very small, limited to only greys and blues, giving it a very cold look, just like the emotions portrayed in the scene. There are alot of shadows aswell, also adding to the sinister look. This can be achieved by using the levels effect addon in an editing program. At the start of the scene, on the lead up to the short action sequence of the fight, camera tracking is used. The camera follows the character towards the danger, possibly by being attched to a trolley so it moves smoothley and looks natural. The lighting is very dim, creating a dark, criminalistic feel and the setting looks rather clinical and too clean. All of these visualy representationed factors give the scene an un welcoming atmosphere of danger and tension.
